Europa-Park
Experience the whole of Europe in a single day at Germany’s largest theme park!
Spanning an area of 95 hectares, you can really let off steam in both summer and winter with over 100 attractions and fantastic shows, set within 14 European themed areas. Alongside a diverse adventure landscape featuring traditional architecture and lush vegetation, the numerous culinary delights are sure to delight globetrotters of all ages.
Whether it’s Iceland, France, Russia or Austria – 14 European themed areas, each featuring traditional architecture, cuisine and vegetation, evoke a holiday atmosphere. In Iceland, the wooden rollercoaster “WODAN – Timburcoaster” and the catapult rollercoaster “blue fire Megacoaster powered by GAZPROM” beckon visitors. Adrenaline junkies will also find plenty to enjoy in France. The landmark of the French themed area, the dark ride “Eurosat”, sends guests on a thrilling journey through space. Anyone wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of the park for a while can take a break at the Magic Cinema in the French themed area. A brand-new adventure entitled “Happy Family” is on show at the Magic Cinema 4D.
The film, produced by MackMedia, tells the story of the very ordinary Wünschmann family, who have a most unusual day out at an amusement park. “Happy Family” (mornings) is shown alternately with last year’s hit film, the 4D adventure “Das Zeitkarussell” (afternoons). Thrills are guaranteed on the “Silver Star”, which, at 73 metres high, is one of Europe’s tallest rollercoasters. The family attraction “ARTHUR – In the Kingdom of the Minimoys” turns the dream of experiencing vast natural landscapes up close into reality. On a 550-metre-long flight through the underground universe, visitors experience seven fantastic kingdoms with all their senses. In addition to the “ARTHUR” themed ride, the adventure world features a ten-metre-high freefall tower, root slides, Minos’ play area, a Mül-Müls carousel with funny little white furry ball animals, “Jack’s DELI” snacks and the ARTHUR Boutique.
Entertainment is also provided by 250 international performers who win the hearts of Europa-Park visitors through their dancing, magic, singing and juggling.
