Fascinating and interactive exhibitions exploring the habitats within the nature reserve

House of Nature in Feldberg

The Haus der Natur in Feldberg offers exciting and interactive exhibitions on the habitats found in the Feldberg Nature Reserve and is a popular destination for day trips. In addition to a permanent exhibition and changing special exhibitions, visitors can take part in guided tours of the nature reserve. Highlights for young and old alike include the virtual hot-air balloon ride and the 3D show. Young explorers can earn their Junior Ranger badge here.

Permanent exhibition – something for the whole family

The relationship between humans and nature is the central theme of the engaging permanent exhibition at Haus der Natur. With its many interactive elements, the exhibition appeals to visitors of all ages and raises awareness of the need to treat nature with care, without being preachy. A particular highlight of the exhibition is the ‘virtual hot-air balloon ride’.

3D Show – Pure Fascination

Experience the Feldberg Nature Reserve and the Southern Black Forest Nature Park in a whole new dimension through captivating stereoscopic images!

Temporary exhibitions – always something new

With regularly changing supplementary and special exhibitions on a variety of topics, we constantly offer new reasons to visit Haus der Natur again and again.

Guided tours of the nature reserve

It is a particularly wonderful experience to explore Baden-Württemberg’s largest (and perhaps most beautiful) nature reserve under the expert guidance of the nature centre’s highly trained staff. Ranger and forester-led walks, along with many other guided tours, offer the perfect opportunity to do so. And in winter, you can explore the fantastic snow-covered landscape at the Höchsten on modern snowshoes, naturally under the guidance of local experts.
