"Villa Urbana" Roman Museum
The villa urbana dates from around 30 to 260 AD. Architectural remains of the main building are displayed in their original state: a large cellar and an 18-metre-long ornamental pool. Also on display are artefacts, mainly everyday objects, as well as sections of a mosaic floor and coloured window glass. Information panels and a model of the entire complex explain the appearance and history of the villa. A computer simulation takes visitors on a tour of the virtually reconstructed main house of the Villa Urbana.
