Golf

The “Golf Campus” is a public golf practice facility featuring a driving range, a large practice area and an integrated 6-hole short course. Since opening in 2001, it has established itself in the Freiburg region as an insider’s tip for beginners & advanced golfers.

Under the ‘Pay&Play’ motto, anyone – whether a beginner or an advanced golfer – can come and play here without booking, a golf licence or even their own equipment. For a daily fee, you can simply hit balls, practise putting and chipping, or play a few rounds on the 6-hole course.

Professional coaching for all ability levels, as well as golf licence courses, can be booked with PGA Pro Gavin Hopkins.

The indescribable panorama, the buildings in the old English colonial style with a beach vibe, and many small, charming touches lend the well-maintained course a very special charm. The small catering area, offering hot and cold drinks, such as fresh tarte flambée, ice cream and snacks, invites you to linger.

• Driving range (approx. 280 metres)
• 25 mat tees and separate grass tees
• Since spring 2008: a driving range shelter with approx. 10 covered tees
• Since winter 2010: natural light lighting in the driving range shelter for the twilight hours during the winter months
• Large chipping green, putting green and pitching green with sand bunker
• Integrated 6-hole short course, which can be played without a golf licence
