Golf du Rhin
Sport, nature and socialising go hand in hand at Golf du Rhin. Beautiful natural surroundings in a peaceful setting make golf a truly relaxing experience – an oasis of golfing pleasure. Soft, springy fairways and shady trees are the course’s standout features.
The course is one of the most beautiful in Alsace. It is situated in the heart of a magnificent nature reserve, on an island between the Rhine and the Rhine Side Canal near Chalampé. Designed by Donald Harradine in 1969 and modified in 2003 by Reinhold Weishaupt, the course offers challenges in every respect.
The members of Golf du Rhin are mainly French, German and Swiss.
Golf du Rhin is an 18-hole course, par 72. The practice area includes a putting green, two pitching greens and a large driving range.
Built on a water-permeable surface, the course allows rainwater to drain away very quickly. The microclimate withstands even the harshest winter conditions. This exceptionally favourable situation means the course is playable all year round.
