Skiing
Winter and the Black Forest – they go hand in hand. And even better: the Vosges are our neighbours – offering ideal conditions for winter sports and all kinds of winter fun. Whether on the slopes or in the halfpipe, on cross-country trails, snowshoe trails or hiking paths through the winter forest — here you can discover the white season in all its splendour and variety. There are virtually no limits to your thirst for adventure.

The ski resort is particularly suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers, as most of the runs are classified as easy or intermediate. Six chairlifts and eleven T-bar lifts provide access to the slopes.

Families and children
Children feel right at home at Club P'TITS MONTAGNARDS: for the little ones, there is a nursery with a playground, professional supervision and lunch. Children aged from 12 months to six years are looked after. Older children can practise their first turns in the snow at Opoualand alongside the mascot Opoual. For children aged between three and eight, there is a combined package of ski school and childcare.
The Opoualand fun slope and the Waouland boardercross course also ensure plenty of fun for young and old alike. Furthermore, the La Schlucht ski area, just 5 minutes away, features a snow park with rails, boxes and a big air.
For cross-country skiers
There are a total of 50 km of classic and skating trails available. A particular highlight is a ride on the modern Coaster, where you hurtle down the mountain on a sledge along a 900-metre track, winding through bends and over bumps and jumps.
For those who like to hit the slopes early in the morning from 6 am or in the evening until 9.45 pm, there are 9 floodlit slopes available. Evening and early morning skiing takes place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as every day during the school holidays.
