Heitersheim is well worth a visit from every angle. For walkers and hikers – whether they prefer a leisurely stroll or a more strenuous hike – Heitersheim is an ideal starting point. The paths, offering magnificent views of the Markgräflerland countryside, lead through the vineyards and fields.

Wine Panorama Trail

The Wine Panorama Trail leads through the well-tended vineyards of Heitersheim. It offers hikers and walkers magnificent views of the scenic Markgräflerland region, the southern Breisgau, the imposing mountains of the Black Forest and across to Alsace with the Vosges. Twelve panels each describe the history, views, names of the vineyard plots (locations) and grape varieties. In addition, the individual panels present the local wineries and the winegrowers’ cooperative (WG).
