Mundenhof Animal Park – Freiburg
Covering around 38 hectares, the Mundenhof is the largest animal park in Baden-Württemberg. The spacious outdoor enclosures are home mainly to domestic and farm animal breeds. However, the Mundenhof is also home to Javanese and gibbon monkeys, as well as meerkats. There is an aquarium housing numerous saltwater and freshwater fish.
With two large playgrounds and two walk-through animal enclosures, the Mundenhof is a popular day-out destination just outside the city, and not just with families.
